A Kawaii Summer Lookbook 2018
When it comes to summer styles, I'm one to be excessively challenged by the amount of different types of outfits I want and can do. So I've narrowed it down to the term 'Kawaii'. An affectionate and common term used by Japanese people to compliment something that is cute, lovely and sweet. Of course Kawaii itself is very broad but let's focus on the 'cute and girly' style for the sake of argument and for this lookbook I’ve coordinated outfits from Japanese and Korean brands that really embodies summer and cute!

As you can see it's a mixture of Japanese fashion, Korean Fashion and my local highstreet brands such as Miss Selfridge, Primark and Topshop. I sometimes find it easiery to accessorise with items I shop for in physical shops. So having highstreet brands that carry such cute items that compliments the Kawaii fashion of Tokyo was very helpful and this summer there were an abundance of that.
So pop over my YouTube channel and the video linked above and let me know which one was your favourite look?
Seeing that this blog is shiny and new, I don't expect any comments on here, however I do appreciate each and every comment on my YouTube video. As always I'm happy to help answer your fashion related questions and I'm always eager to share where I get stuff from, but sometimes...things are sold out and I incorporate my old items I got a year ago so that doesn't help! I will try to be more current!
